Shaklee180 Month 3 - Progress so Far!

I’m in the middle of a plateau this month, and I haven’t lost any more weight or inches off my frame.  Staying motivated during a plateau can be difficult, but it’s vitally important that you don’t quit.  Even though it’s frustrating to stay the same weight when you’re working hard to get healthy, you must never give up!  Your body is adjusting to a new “normal” weight, and that process will eventually help you maintain your new weight once you reach your goal.  Be proud of what you’ve accomplished, and remember that plateaus are temporary!

Here are my numbers for the month.  I’m including my total weight and inches lost, because remembering what I’ve accomplished so far will help keep me motivated to continue eating healthy!  I have three more months as a Shaklee180 Blogger, and if next month is anything like last month, I’ve got a lot to look forward to!!

Weight: No change = 4 pounds total lost

Measurements:

Bust: No change = 3.5 total inches lost

Waist: No change = 4 total inches lost

Hips: less than .5 inches lost = 2.5 total inches lost

Thighs: No change = 1 total inch lost

Arms: No change = .5 total inches lost

I’ve still lost a total of 11.5 inches from my frame, and 4 pounds of fat.  I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished, and I’m excited to see how much weight I’ll lose next month using Shaklee180 once this plateau ends!  I’ll never quit, because getting healthy is important to me – and I don’t care how long it takes!  I’m staying motivated during a plateau – and you should too!

11.5 Inches & 4 Pounds Lost So Far at Month Two of #Shaklee180!!

I can’t believe it’s already been two months with the Shaklee180 blogger program!  I am so excited to share my results this month with you!  I had a pretty successful month – I found my groove, and now eating well is a snap!

I’m happy to say I’m at 4 pounds lost so far on the program!!  Even better – thanks to the Leucine, I know I’m not losing muscle – it’s all fat!

One of the techniques I used this month that kick-started my weight loss was adding plain Greek yogurt to my Shaklee shakes!  The live, active cultures in the yogurt are good for digestion, and the added protein helps keep me full in-between meals!

I also added spinach to my shakes after getting a few recommendations from other Shaklee bloggers, and I was pleasantly surprised at how great the shakes still tasted!  I was never hungry this month, and I successfully lost both weight and inches!

Here are my results:

Pounds lost this month (& in total): 4

Inches lost this month:

Bust: 1.5 inches down (3.5 in total!)

Waist: 3 inches down (4 in total!)

Hips: 1.5 inches down (2.5 in total!)

Thighs: .5 inches down (1 in total!)

Arms: .5 inches down (.5 in total!)

In total, I lost 7 inches this month, and 11.5 inches in total!!  That’s a lot of inches!!  😀

I’m so excited to be one month into the Shaklee 180 Blogger Program!  Here’s how I’m doing!

This month has been a learning experience for me – I’ve been eating Shaklee180 products for breakfast and lunch, but I haven’t been distributing my calories evenly throughout the day.  Because I haven’t been eating enough in the morning or afternoon, I get too hungry to wait for dinner, and end up eating whatever I can find in the afternoon.

Through trial and error, I’ve learned that distributing my calories during the day helps keep me satisfied, so next month, I plan to incorporate more vegetables and protein with lunch to keep my body satisfied until dinner time!

When I weighed myself yesterday, I expected the scale to be unkind – but I was pleasantly surprised!  Even though I wasn’t totally faithful to the program, I didn’t gain any weight!  But that’s not the best news!  It turns out that even though I stayed the same weight on the scale, my clothing fits better!  When I measured myself with the measuring tape, I found that I had lost a few inches!!

Here’s where I started:

3/1/13

Bust: 47

Waist: 44

Hips: 52

Arms: 15.5

Thigh: 28

And here are my measurements one month later!  Even though I cheated on the program, I still lost inches!

4/1/13

Bust: 45 – 2 inches down!

Waist: 43 – 1 inch down!

Hips: 51 – 1 inch down!

Arms: 15.5 – no change

Thigh: 27.5 – 1/2 inch down!

Imagine how much I could lose if I were faithful to the program!  I am pumped to find out!!  Check in next month to see how much I lose when I don’t cheat!!  🙂
