It’s January, and that means it’s the time of year to make goals! I’ve written a few posts so far about the goals I have for 2013, but I haven’t written about the best part of making a goal – the reward I’ll give myself when it’s accomplished!
Long term reward: When I get down to my healthy goal weight, I will celebrate by taking a trip to an exciting location I’ve never visited before! Do I know yet what that location is? Nope – it’ll be my choice once I get down to that weight! Maybe I’ll visit Paris! Maybe I’ll go to Boston! Or maybe I’ll visit Tokyo!
Short term reward: I currently wear a size 18, and if I can get down to a size 16 by Valentine’s Day, I’ll buy a gorgeous dress to wear to dinner with my husband!
When you are making New Year’s resolutions, don’t forget to consider the rewards you’ll give yourself when you accomplish them! What are your short term and long term rewards?
