A few weeks ago, Chris and I received free passes to Disneyland to check out the new show “Mickey and the Magical Map” in the Fantasyland Theater! We’d never taken Troy to Disneyland before, and we were really looking forward to the trip! Sure enough, our visit to Disneyland was incredible, and we had an wonderful time!
The new show is just terrific! It has some of our favorite characters, like Mulan, Rapunzel, and of course, Mickey! It also incorporates some great and familiar music, and a magical map that is projected onto a 240-square-foot LED screen! The cast of singers, dancers and classic characters made the whole show fun and entertaining! Troy was enraptured, and never looked away through the entire show!
After the show, we took Troy to meet Mickey in Toontown! He enjoyed meeting the star of the show – and afterward, he had a blast exploring the character’s homes! His eyes were as wide as I’ve ever seen them as he took everything in on his first trip to Disneyland!
His favorite ride was the carousel, which he’s ridden before at other places – but this was the first time he got to ride on a horse! As I watched him moving up and down and grinning while my husband held him, I couldn’t help feeling like this would be a memory he’d keep in his heart!
On our way home, we made sure to get him a button for his scrapbook! I can’t wait until we visit again!
Disclaimer: I recieved free passes to Disneyland in order to review this new, wonderful show! Mickey and the Magical Map is a terrific experience that you and your kids will thoroughly enjoy! All opinions are my own. Honesty is my highest aim.
