Friday Letters! Recipients Today: Paradise Preserves, Lady Luck, and You!
Dear Paradise Preserves,
Thanks for explaining the difference between jam, jelly, marmalade, and preserves on your web site! Who knew that marmalade was made with citrus zest? Well, now I do! By the way, your jam (and jelly, marmalade, and preserves) are unique and delicious!! I can’t get enough of your chipotle orange marmalade – it delivers a real kick!
Dear Lady Luck,
Thanks for being on my side Friday night at Crafted! Thanks to your influence, I won a pair of gorgeous leather earrings from the Salvage Shop in one of the raffles at the Etsy Craft Party!
They are so cute, and they inspire me to lose the rest of this baby weight so I can pair them with my favorite jeans!
Dear Blog Readers,
I’m not sure I can keep writing five posts each week, especially now that I’m going back to school. I’m only taking one class, but I also want to cook more often for my family so we can save money and calories. I think I have to pare down to three posts a week.
I know many of you readers are moms too, or in school, or both. How do you find the time to manage everything in your busy schedules?

Loved your letters. I understand about only posting 3 times a week. I’m having the same issue. I’m nearly down to my last semester and I’ve got to make sure that I’m spending enough time with my baby girl and my books. What are you going to school for?

I’m getting my Masters in Education – the class I’m taking this semester is about incorporating technology in the classroom.
I know how you feel – It’s hard to keep a balance!
That’s awesome. It’s great that they teach that these days. Everything relies so heavily on technology. Too bad they don’t make the professors at UNCC take that course. My professor refuses to allow any electronic devices in his class. No laptops, cell phones, or voice recorders. Then he rattles on for 2 hrs and expects people to be able to keep pace with him and take adequate notes and God forbid you ask him to slow down or repeat something. lol
That’s terrible! Doesn’t he know that technology is the way of the future? He should incorporate it into his teaching!
Hi Rebecca, I love the earrings too! I just read your comment that said you’re getting your master’s in Education… Bravo. As far as posting three times a week? I only post three times a week now and that is quite enough if I want to have a life. The key is consistency and quality of content. So not to worry just go for it. My two cents…
Thanks Susan! I appreciate the advice!!
Congrats on your educational quest! Blogging five days a week is a big load when carrying other responsibilites too. I blog three days a week and try to have several weeks of posts drafted to help out during busy times.
That’s a great idea Paula!! I can have some posts written and ready to go for those busy days!
It’s an ongoing juggling act for me to find time to blog and raise my kids and work (part time). Some weeks, I post a lot and some weeks, I don’t post as much. I wish you the best of luck as you forge ahead!
I am sure your blog will do great at 3 posts a week. I used to write mine up and schedule them. I’m wishing you the best with your class you are taking and wanted to also let you know I am working on a health and wellness post this week and shared a backlink to your site. Not sure what day this week, it will post but sometime this week. = )
I agree with Susan…if you keep your content quality based, your readers are going to keep coming back. = )
