Last Friday of the Month – Poetry Day: Haiku!!! :)
In my pre-mommy life, I worked as an English teacher, and my favorite unit to teach was poetry! It’s fun to write – and once in a while, you can create something really special! Last month, I wrote an acrostic about appreciating each moment with my son, so today I’ll write a haiku! The rules are simple: five syllables in the first line, seven in the second, and five in the third. Here goes!
My son is awake,
His joy shows in his wild limbs,
Time to make coffee.
Give it a shot – write one in the comments, if you dare!

Summer break ending
Last day to chill with my peeps
Goodbye warmest friend
I love it!!
The beach was perfect
Sand in shorts, shoes, diapers
Best morning ever
Cool!!
The sun is shining
I feel a gentle,warm breeze
Laundry, you can wait.
Neat! Thanks for sharing!
God is very great
He made things so beautiful
I love Him so much
How do I score Rebecca?! Lol!
lol
A+!!
Fleet-foot time does pass
Like a breeze through the forest
Stopping for no one
That’s my 30th birthday talking, there
So true. It’s important to take a minute to enjoy the ride
Wonderful poem – thanks for stopping by Neill!!
