Book Review – Stop Hating Your Job!!

Stop Hating Your Job by Melissa Anzman

I’d like to introduce a new feature of the blog – book reviews!  There are so many excellent books available, and if you are an avid reader like I am, then you want to know which books are worth reading cover to cover, and which ones aren’t worth reading the back flap.

If you’re like me, you know a lot of people who are dissatisfied with their occupations.  They might hate who they work for, dealing with office politics, or worse – they may have lost their passion for what they do.  Maybe you’re there right now.

I’ve definitely been in this position before.  I’m really lucky right now to have a job that I love – being a stay-at-home mom – but I’ve held jobs in the past that I truly hated.  I know the feeling of intense dread that comes on Sunday night because of what’s waiting the next day at 8 a.m.  It’s a feeling that no one should have to live with – and thankfully, you don’t!

Today, I’m reviewing “Stop Hating Your Job” by Melissa Anzman, and I’m happy to say that her book offers just the right cure for feeling unfulfilled at work!

While working as a human resources insider, Anzman conducted many interviews with professionals at every level to determine what kept people motivated, focused, and engaged at work – and what had the opposite effect.  She’s taken those results and developed a six-step solution for anyone who hates their job, so they can fall back in love with what they do!

What makes her book most effective are the tangible exercises she encourages the reader to complete throughout each chapter.  By writing down the specifics of what you want and how you plan to get there, the possibility of job satisfaction becomes a lot easier to visualize and make a reality!

If you dislike your job, or know anyone who does, Anzman’s book offers the solution you need to rekindle your passion for your job!!  Click here to learn more!!
