Time Is Precious!
Today, after reading fellow blogger Tricia’s creative post on her site Raising Humans, I was inspired to get a little creative myself! Here we go:
This morning has gone by in a blur.
I woke up with Troy at 4:30 a.m., then slept in till 9.
My list of things to do is as long as my arm, and
Every room in my house is a mess.
I feel like the day is flying by, but when I
Stop to think about it, so will the years.
Pretty soon, Troy will be a toddler
Running around our town like a wild man of Borneo,
Every year will mark new milestones in his life,
Could I miss the best moments by worrying about what needs to get done?
In my Martha-mentality, I might miss the joy that Mary knows to cherish,
Our son is a precious gift from God, and
Until the day he goes out into the world on his own, I have time to create
Special moments for him, my husband and I! And the dishes can wait.
