New design in the works – stay tuned!!!
I’ve been learning a lot about blogging in the past few months. Thanks to the many informative articles from fellow bloggers I’ve read online, I’ve learned why it’s important to “no-follow” affiliate and give-away links (and if that sounds as confusing to you as it did to me, read this post by Leila for a clear and concise explanation), why disclaimers for posts containing affiliate links are so important, and how to add additional pages to a blog!
I’ve also learned a lot about my blogging personality from attempting to design a new banner. After 3 lost hours, I realized that I am not a designer, nor particularly artistic. I’m a writer. I’m passionate about phrasing, grammar, and wordplay – but not design, not really. I’ll probably research some basic photography rules in order to learn how to get the best shots for my posts, but that’s all I’m interested in.
That’s why I’m so glad there are designers out there that will handle this stuff for you! I recently hired Designer Blogs to give this web site a make-over, and from the previews I’m getting, it’s gonna look amazing!!! The new design should be up in the next week!!

Funny. I’m doing the same thing! I’m still in the research stage of revamping my blog. There’s so much helpful information available for bloggers in our situation, such a life saver! Congrats on making such significant progress! Can’t wait to see your new and improved blog!
